Privacy policy
What happens to your details when you use this website, in plain words.
Effective date:
Nokishita Ramen & Izakaya (“we”) runs this website, nokishita-dww.pages.dev. This page explains what personal information it collects, why, where it goes, how long it’s kept, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
This website doesn’t collect your personal information, and we don’t receive anything through it.
- When you sign up for the monthly bowl email: the sign-up on our home page asks for your email address and your consent. When you press “Sign me up”, your browser checks what you typed and shows a thank-you message. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else, and this website doesn’t keep it.
- When you send us a question through our form: the form on our Private events and Contact pages asks for your name, your email address, your phone number if you want to give it, the date, how many people and your question. When you press “Send your question”, your browser checks the form and shows a thank-you message. Nothing you typed is sent to us or anyone else, and this website doesn’t keep it.
- When you call or email us: the phone number and email address on this website open your phone or your email app. The call or email goes from there, not through this website.
Why we ask for it
The form asks for the date and how many people are coming because that’s what we need to answer a question about a group, and for your email address or phone number so we can reply. The sign-up asks only for your email address, for the monthly email below. We ask for nothing else.
The monthly email
The sign-up is for one email a month about the new limited bowl, sent by Nokishita Ramen & Izakaya, 214 Front Street, Larkhaven, BC. We only email you once you tick the consent box, which always starts unticked, and every email has a link to unsubscribe at any time.
On this website the sign-up sends nothing, so it doesn’t add you to any list.
Where it goes
Cloudflare hosts this website. Its servers keep short-term records of visits, such as your IP address, for security and to keep the website running. Cloudflare handles those records under its own privacy policy.
Everything on these pages, including the fonts and pictures, comes from this website itself, and the map is drawn, not embedded. Opening a page doesn’t contact any other company’s servers.
How long we keep it
This website keeps nothing you type. Cloudflare keeps its records of visits for a short time, as its privacy policy describes.
Cookies and analytics
This website doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t use analytics. There are no ads, tracking pixels or social media buttons on it.
This website doesn’t track you across other websites, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Because this website doesn’t collect any, there’s nothing from it for us to show you, correct or delete. If you give us your details another way, by phone or by email, you can ask the same about those.
For the records Cloudflare keeps, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
